On Wednesday 20 players travelled to Oliva Nova for a stableford competition. We found the course in very good condition and credit must go to the Greenstaff.  However all of us found the course playing really long and struggled with our scoring on the day. Two players put in a good score and the one who triumphed with a better back nine was Steve Smith with 33pts, just pipping Sylvia Evans. well done you two and congratulations Steve 😀👏👍

Our day was Sponsored by Jenny Gilbert ( Paul Gilbert's Daughter ) of Jenny's Cleaning Services. On show were prizes for 1-4 places and 4 nearest the pins. Thank you Jenny and of course Dad Paul for organising the event. Paul also declined any prize he might have won as he was the sponsor👏👍🍾🍺😀

A nice surprise was in store when John and Jill Stent joined us in the Clubhouse for Presentation and Donated a Prize for 5th place. It was lovely to see you both and look forward to September when you will be back for a longer time.

The Football card winner was John Drewery with Peterborough

We had a fair bit of Joviality going on at Presentation none more so than the Orba Warblers Birthday song for Roy Booth, he will be Sponsoring next week at Alenda. 👍👏🍾😀

Next week we are at Alenda Golf 28th July with a first Tee 10-30am

Anyone wishing to play please contact Sylvia at wilsyl@orange.fr

Best wishes to all    😂😷🍺
