With an abundance of sand on the greens putting became a bit of a lottery, like putting on a "pastry pie top" one golfer stated. But with blue skies from north to south and east to west made up for the greens and this week’s event was a Texas scramble, so four chances of getting the ball in the hole.
First passed the post was David French – Michael Grant - Roy Booth and Dennis Coe with a net score of 63.6.4
Closely followed by Glynn Braidley - Bill Diamond - Will Evans - Peter Gibson. Net score 64.8
and 3rd was David Knight - Derek Gray - Simon Elvery and Sylvia Evans. Net score 67.1
Overall it was a good day’s golf on what has become a very tricky course for the wayward hitters and this week a very tricky course to putt on.
