Today we travelled the short distance to Oliva Nova where we found the course in excellent condition, everything was cosmetically beautiful. Well done to the greenstaff. There were 19 players four of which were Guests and they were made very welcome by our Members.

Playing today was quite difficult and it was really down to us, no blame attached to the course whatsoever. It was just one of those days when scoring was difficult. Top Golfer of the day was the consistent John Daniels, but only just, both himself and Derek Ashton were level with 31pts and John sneaked it, winning on the back three. Well done J.D  👏👍😀

The Prize Presentation was very enjoyable, we had the large room at the back all to ourselves making use of the air conditioning ( Lovely Jubbly ). As you can imagine Banter was at the forefront of everything so plenty of giggles. 😂😂

Thanks to Julian for checking the scorecards and to Derek Ashton for doing the Football card.

Next week we are at Foressos Golf Wed 30th June 1st Tee 10-30am. Anyone wishing to play please contact Sylvia at wilsyl@orange.fr

I am just waiting for confirmation of the next block of fixtures to the end of the year. I will send them out to you all early next week but just to remind you that they are not set in stone and can be changed nearer the time. So please don't panic.🤔👍

Best wishes to you all

Captain Dave 😂😷🍺
